Support an At-Risk Family

Assist a family to become self-supporting by giving them a hand up. Help with basic nutrition, medications and school fees. Every seven seconds a child in a developing country dies of hunger related causes. In Uganda children go to bed every night hungry, without proper medicines to remedy illnesses we have eradicated years ago. Many families have no hope to provide a safe and secure home or school fees so their children will have an opportunity to succeed in this world. Help give them HOPE.

Support a Pastor of a New Church

Help support and empower a Pastor in a newly planted church. Bombo Pentecostal Church has planted churches in Wobulenzi, Lewuro, and Kakoge, Uganda.

These three Pastors are currently bi-vocational; but their churches are growing so fast they need to spend more time shepherding their congregations. Give them the ability to spend the time necessary to disciple their church to become self supporting congregations.

Distribute Bibles

Provide Bibles in English, Lugandan and Swahili for the spiritually hungry. The churches in Bombo, Wobulenzi, Lewuro and Kakoge will be distribute Bibles to the community as they share the Gospel with their neighbors. As a result of providing food, medicine, prayer and sharing God’s Word we have seen hundreds come to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord in the greater Bombo area.

Treated Mosquito Nets

Align Ministries has already provided over 2,000 treated mosquito nets in Bombo. We have seen a significant decrease where these nets have been distributed. Help eradicate Malaria in Uganda.

Drill a Well - Provide Clean Water

Provide pure safe drinking water that does not need to be boiled or treated for a village. Water from shallow wells and even the “city” water is contaminated. These wells are drilled to a depth that provide clean drinking water. Every hour, another 250 people in developing countries die from water-borne diseases caused by unclean water and poor sanitation.

College or Vocational Training Scholarships

Without education and no or poor job skills, many would spend their future begging or rummaging through the dump just to get enough to eat With a college education or vocational training they can become productive individuals giving them self-worth and dignity and enabling them to provide for their families. Help send a student to college or train and equip a person for a vocation in sewing, carpentry, welding, auto repair, computer technology or another productive skills.

Farm animals provide food and a means of earning a living. Chickens lay eggs to eat and to sell. Cows produce milk to drink and sell. All give birth and reproduce.

Bombo School Building Project
